Backwater fishing from Marco Island is some of the best in the country. With such a rich estuary an offshore fishery there is always a species to target.
Snook, Snapper, Redfish, Trout, Mackerel, Tarpon and Shark are just a few of the species that are prevalent in the Ten Thousand Islands.
When fishing in this area, we use all light tackle penn spinning rods with our preferred method, live bait. Fishing in the backwaters can be somewhat technical, but very much so rewarding. Casting close to mangroves shore lines where larger predatory species lurk in search of their next meal. Even for the first-time angler, our skilled, patience and dedicated captains will teach you and your party the correct methods of fishing these waters. Our captains will gladly clean your fish after the charter and provide you with many local restaurants that will cook it for you. All necessary equipment, license, ice and bait are provided at no additional cost.
If there are certain species of fish you would like to catch more than others, please let us know. We are glad to customize our trip to fit you and your party’s needs.
