Florida Law states all persons operating a jet ski who were born on or after January 1, 1988 must have in their possession a valid boating safety education ID card while operating any motorized vessel of 10hp or more.

If born on or after January 1, 1988 you must complete the Boater Safety Course in order to drive the jet ski! If you don’t have access to a printer you can send it to us and we will print it for you!

Participants 15 years of age and under, are NOT allowed to operate any WaveRunner on Florida waters at any time, regardless of whether they hold a Boater Safety I.D. Card ( Florida law, Chapter 327.393). Florida laws require proof of age with photo identification.

Guests 4-15 years old:

Can’t drive a jet skis but can be passengers with someone 18 or older

Guests 16-17 years old:

Can drive their own jet ski if they present a valid government-issued photo ID, complete a Boater’s Safety Test, and have a natural or adoptive parent present a valid government-issued photo ID and sign a waiver at check-in.
If two minors (16-17 years old) want to share a jet ski, both must meet the requirements.

Guests 18 and older:

Can drive a jet ski if they present a valid government-issued photo ID and are either born before 1988 or complete a Boater’s Safety Test.
Can be a passenger on a jet ski
If two adults want to share a jet ski, only one must meet the requirements (all adult guests must present valid government-issued photo IDs)

Guest Cannot Participate if they

Possess or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Drivers doesn't have a photo I.D.
Have any existing medical conditions that put them or others at risk
Are 3 years of age and younger.
Operator of Jet Ski does not have a basic understanding of the English Language.

We depart from Rose Marina at the north end of Marco Island. Rose marina is a beautiful water access point located at 951 Bald Eagle Dr, Marco Island, FL 34145. This location includes ample free parking, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to drinks and allows easy access to the northern Ten Thousand Islands or Gulf of Mexico.
